Layerly products are printed in PLA, a plant-based plastic. It is strong for everyday desk use, but it softens with heat.

Keep it cool

Keep pieces away from temperatures above about 50°C — a closed car in summer, direct afternoon sun, stoves, heaters and hot laptop vents.
Don't wash them in a dishwasher or with hot water. A soft dry or slightly damp cloth is enough.

Stands and docks

Stay within the load and size limits given on each product page.
Place stands on a flat, stable surface, and don't use them as a step, handle or lever.
Charging docks hold your phone and route your cable. Use only a certified charger and cable that suit your phone. Chargers are not included unless the listing says they are.

Lamps and electrical parts

Use only the LED bulb, or a bulb of the type and wattage given on the listing. Hot bulbs can deform PLA.
Keep lamps dry and indoors, switch them off when you go out, and stop using them if a cable or plug gets damaged.

Children and food

Our products are décor and desk accessories, not toys. Keep small parts away from children under 3. Unless a listing clearly says so, our products are not meant to touch food or drink.

Looks and finish

Faint ridges, small shade shifts from one filament roll to the next, and the odd speck are simply how printed objects look; function is unaffected.
